The parasitic nematode Spinitectus Fourment, 1883 is redescribed from specimens collected from stomach of freshwater fish Notopterus notopterus (Pallas) (Notopteridae, Osteoglossiformes) in district Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) India. Based on the morphological and morphometrical comparisons, the results indicate that it is Spinitectus notopteri Karve and Naik, 1951.Abstract
