Peer Review Process
A well-established and specialized team is associated and involved in the peer-review process.
The journal follows double-blind peer review policy.
• The Scientific Temper is very sensitive to plagiarism-related issues. The journal does not allow a similarity index of >10%.
• Any adoption of material (figure, diagnostic criteria, figures, etc.) from previous research work or publications needs to be produced after taking permission from publisher/authors of original publication and proper credits to the original research.
• The copyright of the published work lies with the author. However, when the author cites any published work with the journal it needs to be duly cited.
• As the journal is a non-profit journal and does not charge the author for submission, we do not allow the published material to be used for commercial purposes without permission.
Our peer-review policy
The Scientific Temper follows the COPE guidelines in general and at times we do independent decisions for the betterment of the journal
- Authors submit manuscripts and supporting files, as well as act on revision requests.
- The Editor-in-Chief uses the Open Journal Management System to review manuscript submissions.
- He assigns it to reviewers and other editors. Reviewers are invited to work on manuscripts.
- The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. The publishing process involves Authors, Editors, and Reviewers as Users of this Online System. Each one of them plays an important role with a defined responsibility to meet ethical standards at each stage of their involvement during the finalization process of the paper.
