Fresh water catfish Clarias batrachus was immunised with cellular antigen and the immune response of the fish was observed. The impact on immune system was studied in terms of leucocytes: TLC and DLC were determined for the experimentally immunized group and compared with the control group. The number of lymphocytes and TLC increased slightly after administering the antigen. The results obtained are analysed and presented in this communication.Abstract
