This study delves into the complex interplay between tourism and climate change in the Gir region, a vital habitat for the Asiatic lion and an area of great environmental significance. This popular tourist spot faces new problems due to climate change’s unparalleled environmental upheavals. This research aims to examine the effects of changing precipitation patterns, altered ecosystems, and increasing temperatures on the local economy and tourism. The connection between changing weather patterns and travel habits is investigated in this research. It does this by using geographical analysis, climate change statistics, and tourist patterns. The ramifications for expanding preservation and eco-friendly tourism are also made clear. This case study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the Gir region’s vulnerability to climate change and the adaptation measures that will be required to mitigate it. This may be accomplished by simultaneously looking into economic and environmental aspects.Abstract
