All the scales were tested for the psychometric properties of a similar sample and found satisfactory. After the data screening and cleaning procedure, it was subjected to Pearson product-moment correlation to study the relationship between variables. The result shows there is a negative and significant relationship between achievement status and the parenting style of the father and the mother. There is no negative and significant relationship between diffusion status and the parenting style of the father and the mother. There was no significant relationship found between moratorium status and the parenting style of the father and the mother.
