Abstract

There are many important fruits grown in temperate climates such as apple, peach, pear, plum, apricot, almond, cherry, strawberry, kiwi, walnut etc. Unlike field and vegetable crops, fruit trees are grown over several years in the same habitat and serve as a
permanent abode for the multiplication of insect pests.
